On the 11-th of March, 2010 international holding AsstrA announced about passing of certification according to ISO 9001:2008 international standards. As a result of the audit AsstrA holding got the certificate which confirms that freight-forwarding activity, transportations by own transport, rendering of logistic and IT services correspond with new version of ISO 9001 requirements.

AsstrA got its first ISO 9001:2000 certificate in 2004. After the termination of the certificate term of validity in 2007 the recertification audit was performed. In February 2010 Swiss company SGS verified the conformity of AsstrA holding quality management system with ISO 9001:2008 international standard requirements.

ISO 9001:2008 — is the fourth version of the international standard that differs from ISO 9001:2000 by more attentive attitude towards legal and environmental aspects of the organization activity, attitude towards the customers’ intellectual property and specifies the approach of ISO 9001:2008 to the mechanism of the outsourcing processes management. Moreover, new version of the standard contains clarification of the requirements concerning the evaluation of the customers’ satisfaction and processes monitoring.
