AsstrA at Transport Logistic 2011 exhibition: Eastern Europe is in focus
From the 10-th till the 13-th of May Transport Logistic 2011 exhibition took place in Munich (Germany), where international AsstrA holding company participated for the fourth time.
AsstrA employees and other participants of the event as well as the organizers themselves noted considerable growth of the visitors and increase of activity at the biggest branch event in Europe. More than 51 000 participants from 134 countries of the world have become the visitors of the international exhibition where 1893 companies were presented from 59 countries of the world. According to the organizers’ evidence the attendance of the exhibition increased by 7% in comparison with the last year.
There was an increase of interest towards international transport-logistics holding AsstrA which this year participated at the exhibition under the motto “Eastern Europe is in focus!” The holding specialists noted the increased attention of the visitors towards the possibilities of working at the markets of CIS and Eastern Europe. The representatives of Western market don’t have any doubts about the prospects of Russian market and other countries of the region. AsstrA employees being the experts at CIS transport-logistics market, answered a lot of questions of the company stand visitors concerning the peculiarities and nuances of foreign trade activity focused on the mentioned regions. AsstrA also presented its possibilities in logistics to Eastern Europe, particularly, in the sphere of international freight-forwarding of different cargoes by all means of transport including its own road transport, customs clearance and insurance.
AsstrA specialists that had been working at the stand also held negotiations about cooperation with potential partners, had meetings with customers, shared experience with the participants of the market from other countries.
More than 150 customers and suppliers interested in cooperation visited the stand and negotiated with AsstrA representatives during the exhibition.
The President of the Board of Directors of AsstrA holding Dmitry Lagun noted one more positive result of the event:
«In justice to the practical benefit of participation for AsstrA holding business I would like to focus attention at another very important aspect – it was so pleasant again to feel ourselves as a part of one big logistics family, to meet high-level professionals that had come from different countries of the world, many of which are our good partners and friends. It is too early to estimate the specific results of the exhibition for the business, the further work will show it. But as for today I should say that in comparison with the previous exhibition after-crisis activity of the companies-participants as well as of the visitors have increased considerably. And this is the brightest evidence of the transport-logistics business development».

Transport Logistic – is an international exhibition of logistics, telematics and transport. 1,760 companies from 55 countries of the world participated in a previous exhibition that took place in 2009 on the total exhibition area of about 89,000 square meters. More than 48,000 specialists from 80 countries of the world visited the exhibition. In 2011 more than 51000 people from 134 countries of the world have become the visitors of the exhibition.
