"Beaujolais Nouveau Arrival" is celebrated worldwide on the third Thursday of November every year. At 00:00 sharp in the Wednesday-Thursday night the famous French new-crop Beaujolais wine is released for sale and tasted by wine connoisseurs in more than 150 countries of the world.

In 2004 the "new Beaujolais Feats" was held in Minsk by the French Embassy in the Republic of Belarus. The collective consignment department of AsstrA Associated Traffic AG arranged the delivery of new wine consignment directly from the manufacturer in France to a Minsk restaurant where "Beaujolais Nouveau 2004 Arrival" was celebrated.

We picked up the wine consignment in France on November 5 and the cargo hit the road. We delivered the wine to our warehouse in Magdeburg, Germany, as according to the tradition Beaujolais Nouveau cannot leave the European Union until November 10. On Thursday, November 11, exactly one week before the "New Beaujolais Feast", the cargo was shipped from Germany to Minsk.

On Tuesday, November 16, the Beaujolais Nouveau 2004 consignment for the "New Beaujolais Feast" was safely and timely delivered to Minsk.
