In the future, it will allow integrating with the systems of business partners. An Internet interface will give the customers an opportunity to monitor all order handling stages remotely in the future.
The first experience of launching Oracle solutions was successfully implemented in 2007 when AsstrA used the WMS (Warehouse Management System) module, that is part of the Oracle E-Business Suite, in the Sofiyevskaya Borshchagovka logistics center for the first time. The company management approved the business plan on launching other Oracle solutions using own resources of the company in the end of 2008.

The introduction of the new Oracle-based system of transportation order management automation OTM (Oracle Transportation Management) and of the related Oracle E-Business Suite modules awaits the employees of AsstrA offices in Minsk and Brest in the second quarter of 2010.
The new OTM transportation order management system has a number of significant advantages facilitating the achievement of the ultimate result: improved order management process and integration with partner systems. On the one hand, the new system will allow forwarders to optimize their operations and to speed up the order handing process accordingly. On the other hand, ОТМ will give customers an chance to monitor order handing directly. At the same time, all data is firmly protected by a validated security system.
The new corporate information system will be based on ORACLE products:
- OTM (Oracle Transportation Management) - the system of transportation order management automation
- OEBS (Oracle E-Business Suite) – at the first stage the system includes a finance management module, HRMS (Human Resource Management System) – a personnel management module, OLM (Oracle Learning Management) module – a training management system, WMS (Warehouse Management System) – the system of warehouse management.
