Russian Government reduces the number of countries to pay for using motorways

The Government of the Russian Federation has halved, from 29 to 15, the list of countries whose carriers have to pay for using motorways.

The respective Decision was signed on May 20 by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin.

The new list includes Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Hungary, Germany, Denmark, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Turkmenistan, Czech Republic, Switzerland and Sweden. The following countries are excluded from the list and will not pay fees for travel on the territory of the Russian Federation: Great Britain, Greece, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Cyprus, Latvia. Lithuania, Malta, Portugal, Slovenia, Finland, France and Estonia.

According to the decision, 60,000 roubles is to be paid by a carrier for a one year stay in Russia, 5,000 roubles for each month, 1,150 roubles for a week and 385 roubles for one day.
